The Kenya National Examination Council (Knec) always manages the examinations portal that is used to deploy hired teachers during national Examinations.
Once a teacher enters the information,the Knec portal will be able to easily deploy and pay the teachers after the tests are completed and the results are made public.
The Kenya National examinations Council plans to administer national examinations to the 2.3 million students who will take part in this year’s the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.
The number of KCPE learners who will sit for exam will bey around 1,415,315 candidates, whereas the KCSE exam will be taken by another 903,260.
The Kenya National Examination Council Chief Executive David Njengere further reveals that preparations for the Kenya Primary School Education assessment for 1,282,574 Grade Six students have begun.

The examinations Council has also proposed for new security measures to prevent cheating at this year’s national exam.
Knec directs that the examiners will no longer select all of the day’s examination papers in the morning,knec centre managers, who are also school principals, will select only the morning publications.
In this year , Knec has confirmed to have purchased more containers in order to provide examination storage facilities in schools.
At the same time, availability of these containers will reduce the time required to select and drop examination papers.
In this year, there are new changes which include waiting for candidates too finish the morning paper, then they be returned to the container as the afternoon papers are picked.
