Latest Clarification on Eligibility of Senior Interns over September Replacement
The teachers employer Teachers Service Commission released a noble announcement for intern teachers.
According to the commission,intern teachers can apply for permanent or replacement roles.
The commission advertised posted 2,120 job openings available following isteachers leaving due to natural attrition.
Advertised positions are divided into 1,591 for primary schools as well as 529 for secondary schools.
Interested candidates must submit their applications through the online portal once the slots become available.
The commission played a key role in employment of over 10,000 interns initially recruited in November 2019, who used to be uncertain about their prospects for permanent employment.
TSC intern teachers are initially hired on one-year contracts to gain experience. Incase the teacher transitions into permanent positions,then they can end their contracts with a 30-day written notice as per the internship terms.
