TSC Promotions 2023
Teachers Service Commission TSC indicates that 16000 teachers were promoted this year. The TSC promotions were based on professional development standards,the regional balance,the gender equality as well as the affirmative action for arid and semi-arid lands.
Under the secondary schools level, the list of the promoted teachers will perform the functions of,Teacher IV,Deputy Directors I and II,School principal as well as Deputy Director II.
Date on teacher promotions across regions indicate that Kiambu County has the highest number,then followed by Kisii and finally Kakamega.

All the teachers who are serving under the acting capacity will also be given priority in terms of promotion.
The TSC CEO Dr. Nancy Macharia presented a report to the Senate Engagement Committee showings medical benefits,teacher employment, teacher promotions plus the transfers of wayward teachers.
Data from the commission indicate that a total of 6,214 teachers will move up one level and 5,436 teachers will move up two levels from level B5 to level C1.
The commission plans to promote 11,258 teachers within the general promotion framework for the period 2022-2023,
Categories of PROMOTIONS FOR TEACHERS
In the latest announced steps by the committee, the arranged subsequent promotion interviews will result in the promotion of a total of more than 36,000 teachers.

Kakamega county will have the most potential for advancement. 288 individuals will move from C1 to C5,
A total of 227 teacher will move from C1 to C5 and 36 individuals will move from C1 to C2.
Another 21 teachers will be transferred from B5 to C1, C1 to C2 and C2 to C3 in Garissa District.
