Ministry Releases These Orders to Schools To Comply
The Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang released an important update on Friday regarding the upcoming national exams in the country.
In his written statement update, Kipsang said that preparations for the 2023 national exam are almost complete and now ready to start in as usual.
Kipsang emphasized on the importance of maintaining a controlled environment in schools.He called on school administrators to ensure putting a limit on organization of in-school activities as well as discouraging parents from visiting.
Ministry of Education MoE has made it clear that during the 3rd term,all the parents will not be allowed to attend any school function.
The is meant to ensure that there is maximum security and integrity for national exams.
All the day and boarding schools are expected to end academic activities on October 27 to create conditions for the national exam to begin.
The PS also said that the government is releasing 16 billion shillings , money that will be distributed to schools to ensure smooth running .
This year’s KCPE examination 2023 will mark the final examinations of the 8-4-4 education system.
Kipsang further announced that the Ministry of Education is preparing to quickly disburse funds to schools,hence awelcome development for educational institutions.
Education directors and head of the schools also received a warning from the Education Department .
Finally the ministry extended sincerest wishes to all KCPE and KCSE candidates as they diligently prepare for the upcoming national examinations, adding that hard work and dedication are truly commendable and we wished success in the academic endeavors.
