Based on the distribution of educational loans to Kenyan students seeking higher education,Higher Education Loans Board HELB has released an important announcement to students.
The board announced the start of the disbursement of money to continuing students and higher education institutions in a press release.
HELB has already started the loan disbursement procedure for Kenyan students. The money will help more than 175,000 undergraduate students and roughly 70,000 TVET students that are still utilising the outdated higher education finance model.
HELB money is being distributed to students in a variety of ways which range from banks and the practical HELB mobile wallet.
HELB announcement further that it is important for all institutions of higher learning to act quickly now that the money has already been released.
HELB encouraged institutions to advise their pupils to finish the registration process for tuition fees.
Registration date for this event is October 5, 2023.
