TSC Deployment Kicks off as TSC opens its Portal
TSC portal for 2023 is now open to deploy teachers from primary schools. The portal has been opened for teachers wanting to move from primary to secondary education and this exercise is now now online.

There are 185 vacancies that have been re announced in Mandera, Wajir and Garissa provinces as part of the recruitment process for new teachers.
Even after several announcements , no application was received and the CBC implementation will be affected and existing inequalities in the new school system will be more pronounced.
TSC still notices that one of the challenges in recruiting teachers in secondary schools is that some teachers do not want to commit to certain areas due to their compensation.
Tsc experiences this as one of the challenges in recruiting secondary school teachers.
Ministry of Education indicated that the exercise will will continue.
A document found on the TSC website and viewed by teachers, the portal remains open for those teachers who meet the necessary qualifications can apply and will be placed on rotation session.
Since the deployment exercise started, over 21,365 teachers have been recruited to teach in primary schools through the one-year internship program.
In the first phase of this exercise , a total of 9,000 teachers were permanently employed and eligible for pensions.
