The Teachers Service Commission TSC announced extension of application for promotion of teachers from September 8th to 15th ,2023 to so interviews can start .
TSC will start conduction interviews for teachers in their respective counties.
Most teachers who were transferred from their former working stations posted their worry after experiencing difficulties in their application procedures since thei TMIS information still shows that they are at their previous schools.
There were previous indications that schools had TPADs not submitted .
Before application, every teacher must submit their TPAD results for 2020, 2021, and 2022 in the online application procedure .

Inorder to Log in to your TPAD account.
- Log in and get n the dashboard, go to APPRAISALS then SELF APPRAISAL.
- Next is to Tap VIEW ARCHIVED APPRAISAL. You’ll get a warning prompt.
- Then Click ADVANCED.
On the tap PROCEED click it to proceed(It’s indicated ‘Unsafe.’ Ignore the warning) - Then Click the VIEW APPRAISAL tab on the far right of each term appraisal.
- On your computer, press CTRL+P to print each page.
- To work out the figures to enter in the promotion application portal get the average score for each year.
- Next is to Print the reports and have them stamped by your head of institution.
- Make sure you retain them for use during the promotion interviews.
TSC transferred teachers have requested TSC to resolve the TMIS confusion so that they can apply for the listed positions alongside their colleagues.
The commission noted that no Manual applications shall not be considered.
Those persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply for the advertised vacancies.
All the candidates who are successful in the TSC interviews shall be required to present valid Chapter 6 documents before they are appointed.

- Teacher be able to demonstrate an ability to supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers;
- Teacher to meet key requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
- Teacher to meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.
