KDF Military Recruitment Ends, Reporting Dates and Centres.
Kenya Defence Forces KDF has released an announcement on the end of the Nationwide military Recruitment Exercise across all the counties.
The recruitment exercise started on August 28th 2023 and ot saw many Kenyans from across the country try their luck.
The Vice Chief of Defence Forces Lt Gen JM Mwangi in an his statement release indicated that KDF Recruiting teams managed to facilitate the military recruitment in 374 recruitment centres across 47 counties.
General mwangi further said that they have managed to successfully recruit qualified Kenyans under the various categories which include;
- General Service Officer Cadets
- Graduate General Service Officer Cadets
- General Duty Recruits.
Mwangi further encouraged those who were not successful for showing courage as well as a competitive spirit.
Those who failed were further urged not to lose hope in their search for opportunities in life .
In his encouraging sentiments , he said that the Youth who showed up for the recruitment exercise , their presence was a strong demonstration being patriotic to their country.
On behalf of the Ministry of Defence, he congratulated those who were successful and welcomes them to participate in delivery of KDF’s constitutional obligations as mandated by the constitution.
Gen Mwangi extended his gratitude to the security agencies including different security agencies,those from the ethics and anti-corruption bodies as well as the media and the general public for their role in the exercise.
Mwangi also added that the successful candidates that were shortlisted for the categories of Specialist Officer Cadets and Artisans or Tradesmen and Women will be notified through the official Ministry of Defence Website and mainstream media.
The results will be released between September 17 and 24 2023.
Those who are eligible for ex-National Youth Service category are expected to report to the Embakasi Garrison based in Nairobi County on September 18, 2023 for the interviews proceedings.
